Sound of Sunset

It is difficult to sing
When all the verses have been sung.
To break the clamour of reality
The fantastical need be drawn on.
When fantasy runs out,
What is there to do?
Be silent.

It is difficult to see the sunset,
When all the sunsets have been seen.
To see the realm of dreams
Dreams cannot become real.
If there are no more dreams to have,
What, then, is there to do?
Live life.

It is hard to find a moment,
Where everything is still,
Where the birds chirp not.
A moment that you or I
Could stay in for eternity.
It could be within a chord,
Or the setting of the sun.
But there are no more chords,
No more sunsets.
They are someone else's moments,
And I will let them have them.

This poem makes no sense... BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! (BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH, I SAY!)

Why So Many Posts?

So today I realized that a bunch of my friends have awesome blogs. I'm not going to link them, cause I'm just lazy cruel.  But anyway, now you might be asking "What's up with the multitudinous blog posts, dude?"  And I would respond by saying, "Yo, dude, I'm probably only going to be committed to this for a week, cause it is my break.  I'm making up for all the blog posts I won't post later, all the hours, of my adoring fans, spent refreshing this page hoping for new things to read."  Then I would go on to say, "The people who actually do that need to get a life..."  So I didn't write this post merely to talk about why I'm writing this post that would be stupid!

Farewell and happy reading!

Just kidding, that act, too, would be a stupid one, I'm again just really bored.  What do you do to stop boredom?  Personally, I don't care, it probably isn't as cool as what I do; I write on my blog.  No, actually I write random crap like this:  "dslkfhbsdklfbslfhbsdlfhbsdlfhbsdflhsbfljhsdbfljsdhbfsljhbfsdljhfbsdljhfbsdjlhfb."  Normally it is much more poetic.  Like Shakespeare.  Shakespeare BIOTCH!  (Heckler:  That wasn't funny.  Me:  Your mother wears combat boots!)

If you haven't noticed I like tangents, I'm not focused and apparently "loud and annoying," all I can say is, "you win some, you lose a lot."  But enough self-pity, virtual dance-party, yeah! Disco!

And then after that dance of awesomeness I... wait what am I saying? what was I going to say? where am I?  I'm seriously lost.  okay..... ummmmmmm...... Another virtual dance partay. "YAY!"

(I pity anyone who has been trying to figure out what the hell I've been talking about for the last 5 paragraphs.)

Now shall I actually talk about something?  that isn't crazy?  that doesn't make me look as crazy nutzo as bat guano?  I THINK SO!  Look a link, to something!  If any of you have seen this video I applaud your skills.  I'm sorry if any mexicans and/or african-american people see this.  Who am I kidding? No I'm not!  It's so goddamn funny.

Now that that video is out there, we can all admit we're all slightly racist, "whether they're black, white purple, or green.  Wait, you gotta draw the line somewhere, purple or green?  To hell with purple people.  Unless their suffocating, then help 'em."  (Mitch Hedberg)

Okay, that still made me look crazy, hmm, plan B!  To the Bat Cave! Theme music!

The end, I'll post again when I've regained my sanity, and some self-respect.

Second Post Today... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

So it is my second post in one day, but to be fair it is also my second post in two days so it could be said that I'm still par for the course.  There are a couple crazy awesome things that I think I am going to initiate in this post.  Why? You ask, because I'm really bored and hopefully this will make me less bored.  (Like a sociopath, but that is a different tangent for another time.)

So here is awesome thing numero uno [spanish :) ]
WEIRD/OBSCURE TRIVIA: every once in a while I think I'm gonna post a question to something I think is kinda obscure, maybe it is, maybe it isn't (either way you could probably find it on google (again, another tangent)), the first person to answer correctly in the comments can name my next post or suggest a topic to write about (but really it's a blog, who is gonna write about a topic that is deeper than an above ground pool (3 for tangents- 0 for attention span)).

So here is the question:  What archaic word did "weird" come from? What did this word represent in ancient culture?

Tres excellent thing nombre deux [that time is was french :)]
NEW PAGE see new page, it's a quote page, well actually that's the old page, another new page, yayyyy, another (gasp), ANOTHER!!!!!  (I am aware that that only made sense to me, my blog, deal with it.) Well, no not really, I lied, I just thought that meaningless garble would attract attention.  Here is the story:  A couple days ago I was going through youtube comments on some of my favorite songs, and I wondered 'I wonder what people I know would think of this song.'  So I am going to post a link to a youtube video every Thursday and I was hoping that the multitudinous followers of this blog could tell me what they think of the song in the comment box.  What lyrics stuck out? what chords were cool? could you stand to listen to the whole thing? did you tear out your headphones after the first five seconds? what? Stay tuned for thursday I hope somebody will participate.

And the reason I'm doing all this stuff:  a) I'm bored ("he's a psychopath, psychopaths get bored"), b) I am trying to make a blog that while is still mindless isn't like other blogs that are like this: "Oh, i had the best breakfast this morning, YAY!  It was like some crazy like tart and then the waiter at this fancy coffee shop made me LOL, like seriously.  (Insert picture of waiter holding breakfast) And then like I bought same shoes and like they were shoes, OMG" et cetera, et cetera. DAMN YOU TANGENTS!

So as you can clearly view from the odd title I AM GOING INSANE (according to my friends I've been insane for a while).  I still believe that the act of being insane is the same act as going insane because both put you in a state of insanity.  Or do they, here is some food for thought:

"I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity."
                             -Edgar Allan Poe

The quote would say that insanity (in the public's opinion) is actually sanity. That (and here I am expanding the quote to my own ideas)insanity is needed in Poe's field is an astute observation by the man.  To see beauty in things most common, is that not a form of insanity?  When the rest of the world goes about their daily business of calculating, shopping, working, and other unimportant tasks.  To extend the theory further it is insanity to see anything more than pragmatically, while the few true pragmatists rise to power everyone else does some lolli-gagging in fields of flowers.  Those who claim power are claimed to be power hungry, and going against the grain and like any insane person are burned at the stake.  But I digress... The insane see the world through the mind of an artist, of a magician, the sane see it through the eyes of a honey bee, only bent on achieving their tasks.

OKAY, so that was actually just a hugenormous tangent I was going to talk about my easter break like a normal person, I guess I'm not that normal.

Deal With It

Second blog post!  This is no longer a one-entry-only blog but rather (for the moment) a two entry blog (which is still more than one)(YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!).
Anyways, I digress. Now that I'm on my second entry it is time everyone on the blog-o-sphere knows a little bit about me. I am human.  I enjoy sunlight, and pork, and believe in some supernatural higher power.  I am an avid cyclist, hat-wearer, and sleeper.  That is the basics, now we get to what everyone I know dislikes about me! (Fun times)  Let's begin with my devotion to everything annoying - I am possibly the second or third most annoying person in the world, behind the first or second.  I am one of the most arrogant people I know, sometimes it's just because I can be.  Thirdly I'm just plain awesome cause as Iago said "I will wear my heart upon my sleeve for daws to peck at."  While maybe not the smartest way to get people to like you I could care less.  People will like me or dislike me for who I am, not who I'm not.  In fact, some traits that have had me despised by some have also endeared me to others.  So now you know a bit about me, and if you ever have a problem you're mature enough:  deal with it!

Another Round At Bat

So I've made a few blogs in my day, they were good blogs, they had more than one entry, they had followers (one or two) - lets see if this one can hit a home-run this time.  My other blogs were aimed at the more literate clientele, who were also more accustomed to interesting stuff.  Those blogs are all well and good but sooner or later I run out of stuff to say and they become those one entry blogs.  So this blogs mission is to post whatever I feel like, whether it be my-friend's-most embarrassing-moments-with-me standing-by or another work of Shakespeare by your truly, and with this mission comes a motto, dum vivimus vivamus or "Let us live while we live."  I hope you will continue reading.
